Lost majority of shares after unraid license upgrade, community application update, and hard restart due to GUI inaccessible

Featured Replies

After upgrading unraid license I experienced a GUI / network address inaccessible and had to do a hard restart. I can't recall if I updated the community application plugin before or after my shares went missing. When the array is started there are only 2 out of the ~10 shares I had previously. I see that under user0 most of the shares are listed, but they are not listed under user.

I've tried searching for answers but most of the time people just say restart, I've done that several times. I also tried looking into moving the shares from user0 to user but I can't figure that out.

Attaching my diagnostics. Please help!

Good thing you couldn't. It could have been disastrous.

I have replaced the cable but I still see the same issue and have noted that the SSD won't show a temp and reads/write is stuck with 0 errors. Also when attempting to access the files on the cache drive its empty (this was the case before and after cable replacement).

If you have replaced both cables, it's likely a bad device, and it needs to be replaced.

How do I recover or preserve the shares?

Are the shares recoverable with replacing the cache drive? I can replace it I just don't want to lose data

Copy what you can from cache before replacing

The cache appears empty. I'm more concerned about the drives or shares settings. They wouldn't be overwritten?

The shares are simply the combined top level folders on array and pools. Your broken pool is the reason the user shares weren't working. When you get the pool working again your shares will work again.
