May 27, 20251 yr I have been running 3 unraid servers till now. I have 2 Pro licenses and one unleashed license. They are still all valid and working. What I want to do it to trash the one server running on the Pro license and install this USB and license on the server running with the unleashed license The 3rd Server (Server A) with the other Pro license will not be affected as it is my main NAS server. Let me put it more graphically:1. Server A runs a Pro license and is my main server, so no change2: Server B runs on an unleashed license and is my backup server (I want to move the pro lisense to this server)3. Server C runs a Pro licence and I want to rebuild this into a test server and for this I do not need a Pro license for this.My take on it is to simply erase the config on Server B's usb stick, then copy the config file from server C's usb stick to Server B's usb stick, but retain the original .key and go files on both sticks (In other words, they don't move as to keep the licenses with the correct USB stick, etc). I then place Server C's USB in Server B and boot Server B and it should start us per usual, but now with the Pro License. Will this work? I couldn't find anyone trying to do this. I could of course just upgrade Server B to a full license, but at $149 currently, is to much for my liking... Any advise on this please.
May 27, 20251 yr Community Expert Solution Yes, you can swap the config folders between drives just fine as long as you keep the .key files with the drive they're associated with.

Nevertheless, by deleting the config files, except the .key and go files and copying the other sticks files to this drive, does swap the license to the correct server. In my example above, Server B now runs the pro license and I now have a free unraid stick with the unleashed key to use for testing, etc... Many thanks for the confirmation! February 22Feb 22 Just did this. The flexibility and robustness of Unraid never ceases to amaze me :-)

Nevertheless, Not normally something that you would do as the 'go' file is part of your configuration information. The default 'go' file does nothing except start up the webGUI so was probably the same on both sticks on your setup?
