I cannot go back to 7.1.2. because mover is broken in that release.

Mover issue was with 7.1.0 and 7.1.1.

  • Well some of the users in here have had issues arise many hours or days after their updates. This could be very troublesome if I was away from home when something happened. I try to balance stability

  • 7.1.3 something seems strange for the smoke-ping docker. The dockers semms it has lost the internet (which works well) raider-diagnostics-20250605_1552.zip

  • So what is the latest actual stable version? Because a release that has bugfixes every other day doen't give me a lot of trust.

My screen shows "Performing Actions - Please keep this window open while we perform some actions" for the last 90min. I was on 6.12.14

It should be a few minutes tops, reboot and try again.

On 7.1.2. mover did not move any files on my system. (Mover was running, the reads on the cache-drives were indicating that something was happening, but no writes on the array, MoverTuning claimed that the files where moved successfully, while in reality no files where moved at all). I did not dive into this too much, since the update fixed the issue for me. Now I don't want to go back to that state.

If you are using the mover tuning plugin, you would need to retest without, since that was likely the problem.

OK, you got a point. I will think about going back to 7.1.2. and watch out for that Mover/MoverTuning issue again. If the problem remains maybe I will open a new thread.

Update from 7.1.2 -> 7.1.3 on a B760M DS3H DDR4 board without any problems

Upgrade to UGREEN DXP4800 Plus worked without any hassle and flawlessly.

Up since two days, no problems with docker or network

Keep up the good work

Thank you

I never had problems with my inet connection, but i dont use realtek NICs...

Updated to 7.1.3 with no issues (so far)

7.1.1 to 7.13 seems to have gone without issue.

Thank you for the quality work

Hi... I have a second server for testing, and I installed this version, and it's been running for over 24 hours without issues with Shinobi and 14 cameras and two VLANs... it's the same machine as the main server, so I run tests on it before moving them to the main server... The machine is a Ryzen 1600AF, 64GB DDR4 Asus B450 motherboard with RTL8111 Ethernet and an Nvidia GT1030...

I haven't updated the main server yet because reading you scared me, and on the main server I use three Realtek network cards, one RTL8111 and two RTL8125.

I don't think the no internet issue has anything to do with realtek nic's, for example my system is using 10Gb nics that are Intel, and is affected.

The loss of Internet (local still works) and connectivity issues has been acknowledged in https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/release-notes/7.1.3/

Version 7.1.3 2025-06-04

This is a small bugfix and security update release.

Upgrading

Known issues

  1. Some users are losing internet connectivity after updating to this release. We are working on a fix, but if you are affected please roll back to 7.1.2 for now (Tools → Downgrade OS will get to your previous release)

So what is the latest actual stable version? Because a release that has bugfixes every other day doen't give me a lot of trust.

7.0.1 imo

I'm still on 6.12.10 due to the time i needed to convert from reiserfs to xfs disk by disk, took a long time. Couldn't and didn't hurry. But by the looks of it i think i'll stay with it for a while longer.

I´m on a Intel x710 10gb NIC and with 7.1.3 my server lost the connection as well.

I do not believe that this network anomaly with Unraid version 7.1.3 is only related to Realtek

Well, in the end I updated my main server to 7.1.3... I will report if it fails or not. 😅

EDIT: This is a bit weird, the CPU usage in the GUI doesn't match the actual usage at all?¿?

Until a while ago in 7.1.2 it was fine 🤷‍♂️

Dashboard includes iowait, htop doesn't, that's not new.

Well, a couple of hours later it's back to normal, maybe there was more disk usage when it first started after the update... so far it's been 3 hours without any problems... everything works as usual. 👌

I tried to update, but when in Docker settings, custom networks, I cant select /24 and under, only /25 to /28
Anyone else having this problem or is this browser related?
Had to downgrade to get my vlans to work

Hello, I just wanted to say that this version (7.1.3) doesn't give me any problems, it's been working perfectly for over 24 hours.

EDIT: Well, after about 28 hours of being on, it failed, losing internet access.....

And since I'm playing, I updated to 7.1.4-rc.1 😁

I think everyone should start posting their hardware configs in the release threads (specifically network controllers). A more obvious pattern may emerge.
