May 10, 201214 yr 196 Reallocated Event Count 0x0032 200 200 000 Old age Always Never 0 197 Current Pending Sector 0x0032 200 200 000 Old age Always Never 103 A year ago, they were both 0. I'm under the impression that there should be 103 reallocated sectors if the drive corrected these pending sectors. I'd also like to note out of the 22 drives in my system, my parity and disk4 have a Raw Read Error Rate of 1, and my disk14 has a Multi Zone Error_Rate of 1. I've gotten 0 parity sync errors in the last year, and these drives got these errors during this last year.
May 10, 201214 yr Author Rebuild the drive. How to I force a rebuild on a green drive? Also I just re-synced parity yesterday and got 0 errors, shouldn't I have got errors if this drive started producing pending sectors? My parity would of already been "corrected" with these errors?
May 10, 201214 yr Author I will try rebuilding it but I am a little confused. I just re-synced parity yesterday and got 0 errors, this should of already 'corrected' parity making my rebuild write the exact same data on the drive with 103 pending sectors. Yes/No? Also are those Raw Read error rates of 1 anything to be concerned with? No idea when they happened but they weren't there after I precleared the drives like a year ago.
May 10, 201214 yr Some sectors on the disk are unreadable. If a second disk has a problem you'll not be able to fix it. Rebuilding the disk will resolve the reallocated sectors. After the rebuild run a parity check and examine the SMART report.
