June 7, 20251 yr New to Unraid with my trial ending in a few days. Noticed a pattern that when I shutdown Unraid on my new PC I built just for it, I cannot connect to it's webpage after the restart. I finally discovered if I shutdown the PC again, move the USB flash drive to another usb port, it will boot up properly and I can get to the webpage. This isn't normal is it?
June 7, 20251 yr Community Expert no, unless all your usb motherboard ports are usb3there are known issues with unraid boot over usb3.0 ports...Usually this is bios settings and power options on ports. Secure boot can get in the way here as well.I would recommend using a motherboard internal usb2.0 board header to usb port to put unraid flash drive in the caseexample: https://www.newegg.com/p/181-02H1-00RE6
June 7, 20251 yr Community Expert Solution Try disabling fast boot or any similar option on the board BIOS.
