Flash drive fails after power outage while updating

Featured Replies

I need to first state that my linux unraid media server was set up by a friend I no longer have access to and I am a total newb in regards to this. I will be lucky to figure out my server password, as it automatically put it in each time. I know how to update things and get my media installed, but that's about it, so be gentle with me please.

My flash drive failed when I was updating the "unknown device driver" (Or something like that) during a thunderstorm and I lost power to the server during the update. Everything seemed fine beforehand, but my flash drive won't boot up the server now. I pulled it and put in into my other computer to see if I could repair it, and my system can't even see it. The light on it just keeps flashing. I know I have 2 parity drives for backups, but have no idea how to access them without being able to start the server up. I also have no idea if I can make another flash drive to get the system running.

This server has ALL my family photos and videos that go back decades! Losing all our history would be devastating!

Please give me any help I can get on getting the server back up and running.

Thanks in advance.
