Server not mounting 2 BTFS Disks

Featured Replies

Hi I have been having an issue with 2 of my drives not mounting.

I have got replacement drives and am wondering the best way to recover as I started a parity sync with one drive not working but it stalled and messed up another drive.

Any help with how to mount and get data (if possible) would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

-Sam

I managed to recover the files off one of the drives to another drive using the mount degraded option.

No luck with the other drive though

btrfs restore -vi /dev/md1p1 /mnt/disks/WSD5ATPN/restore

Am I screwed at this point, should I cut my losses?

This error is fatal with btrfs, lost writes by the devices, there's no fix AFAIK, if the link recovery options don't work, the only option is using a file recovery tool, like UFS explorer, it may still be able to recover some data, and the free trial should show if it can.
