Issue with Mover Not Emptying Cache After Adding Second SSD and plex Docker

Featured Replies

I'm having an issue with the mover (again...). It had been working correctly for the past two years, but this year I added a second SSD to the cache ( the only things i changed). Everything worked fine for a while, but then one day Plex (Docker) stopped working. I haven’t been able to get it running again, and I suspect the problem is related to the cache—it’s constantly full, and I can’t manage to empty it.

When I try to move the files manually, either it tells me immediately that a certain amount of GB has been moved (which was not accurate. it was everytime the same amount and nothing was emptied), or—as is the case now—it says right away that 0 bytes were moved successfully.

I've tried changing the cache/array settings and even adding more memory, but nothing has worked so far.

If you have any ideas, I would really appreciate your help.
Thanks in advance!

Remove mover tuning plugin and try again

It didn’t work. It only moved about 5%

Enable the mover logging, run the mover, then post new diags and the share name(s) you expect to be moved.
