Hello all, i have a weird problem, i'm trying to add a drive to my server and it is not showing up to be added, it's a 18TB seagate

2. Does the disk show up in the BIOS?

hi thanks for the fast respond, i will check the bios but what it is strange i put it in my to server and did not pop up.

Possibly a 3.3V issue?

HI, it does not show in the bios of the two server.... very weird and as for the 3.3V i don't understand... is it the drive that have a problem ?

Google "SATA 3.3v pin".

i found the problem, my drive is a Seagate ironwolf NAS 18TB,

it's not the 3,3V but a disk failed as i used the Seagate tool Software to diagnostics the drive and it gave me an I/O error and also the a bad sound when starting the computer..

Anyway Thanks for all you're fast respond it is you that gave me the hint to test the drive.... witch i should have done in the first place... my bad.

Thanks again now calling Seagate for a replacement.
