July 1, 20251 yr I lost power yesterday and even though I have specified in settings that Unraid should begin a clean shutdown 5 minutes after power loss (in UPS settings) I'm guessing that my server did not shut down cleanly. The reason for my conclusion is that the Unraid server is powered on but does not show up under wired clients when I log into my router. When I search for the server under its previous IP address I get an unable to connect message in my browser. As I said, the server is powered up and the drive light is continuously lit, like solidly. Is it possible that Unraid is doing a parity check and that's why I'm unable to log in, or should I start panicking?8TB Parity disk8TB of storage

July 1, 20251 yr Author I went ahead and performed a hard power down. Powered the server back up and got the MB splash screen. After about a minute I got a BIOS error for ExpressGate, continued past it and Unraid began to boot this time. Unraid has booted completely and I am now at the server prompt.
July 1, 20251 yr Author Logged in via web browser and was successful getting into the GUI. It seems that it may have been a MB problem and nothing to do with Unraid. Anyway, server is back up and running normally now, thanks for your time and your suggestion to attach a monitor and keyboard. Rookie mistake!!
