M1015 randomly not init at boot... also 4tb support?

Featured Replies

ok I just flashed a m1015 to p11 IT mode.

Disabled boot support in card bios.

Using a supermicro C2SEE board, with graphic adapter init set to on-board.

Notice some odd things at boot, they seem random but more likely to happen when boot support is disabled.

1. Initialization of the card seems to start in bios but then seems to continue before done.  Unraid starts up and all disks are missing.

2. Same thing happens when I try and enter the card bios, it seems to start to loading process but then continues to start unraid.  I would at times have to remove the unraid stick to get into card bios

As I said card init seems more stable when I enable boot support, probably because the init process is longer???  Not a huge deal, cause usually if I reboot it will eventually init ok (or I will just enable support, don't need to reboot often).  I just wanted to see if anyone else saw this behavior.

Anyone using 4TB on this drive?  I know with bios p11 IT flash 3TB is supported...
