USB Key after restoration

Featured Replies

Hello,

SO, mu UPS died last night and this morning, after reboot, the webUI was giving me the nginx 500 error message.

I was able to log in with SSH.

I tried to trouble shoot following some posts/article/genAI help, no success.

After a n reboot, even SSH stopped working.

SO i decided to go to my unraid admin panel and to download a backup of my USB key.

I copied/pasted all files on the USB key (from the back up archive, and still, webUI unavailable.

SSH is working again though... well it is responding, but my password is rejected !

If I have restored the files from my USB key backup, all the parameters of my server should be there, right?

I tried to entr with no password, not working...

Any idea on how I can regain access to my server and make it fuly operational again?

Thaks

Try recreating the flash drive, first backup the current one, then recreate it using the USB tool, confirm the flash drive boots with the stock install and that you can access the GUI, and if yes, restore only the /config folder from the backup overwriting any existing files.
