500 Internal error after reboot

I removed a disk from a btrfs pool.

and GUI became somewhat unrepsonsive after that.

reboot and then everything 500 internal error.

The usual restart commands didn't help.

did my usb fry?

What plug in is this and how do get into GUI without it?
