Instability in a new build

Featured Replies

Hi

I have had my first unRAID server up for about a week now. Works beautifully except....

...it crashes with a hardware error after a day of hard work - such as preclearing a disk, or cop[ying large amounts of data to the array (~1TB)

I have a memtest running now and will leave it running for a couple of days, but do you have any other suggestions on how I can localize this problem?

Or helpful settings for the bios to mitigate the problem?

Attached is the syslog

EDIT:

The system specs are:

Motherboard: Supermicro C2SEA/C2SEE

CPU: Inter Pentium E6600 (dual core)

Memory: Super Talent PC3-10600 1033MHz (2x2048MB)

Disks: 3x Seagate GoFlex 3TB (was external - precleared in case, then placed in server)

UBS 3.0 card: Rocketfish USB 3.0 PCI-E (RF-P2USB3)

Case: Azza Solano 1000

Memeory tests running for 15 hours now - no issues reported

Full system specs would be helpful. MB, PSU, HDD models, etc.
