UnRaid Self-Inflicted SSL Troubles

Featured Replies

So I came across a Youtube video showing how to turn on SSL Provisioning. Worked fine for UnRaid. Broke my NextCloud connections. Nothing but trouble since.

I have removed Nextcloud three times tonight, deleted the MariaDB and did new installs. Something in UnRaid tells Nextcloud I am still running a certificate.

I've done this: Edit config/ident.cfg on the flash drive and change USE_SSL to no And it was already set to no.

But Nextcloud keeps saying cannot connect securely to xxx.xxx.xx.xxx the host name does not match any of the valid hosts for this certificate. The certificate is self-signed and untrusted.

If I just enter the server IP address with http I get 400 Bad Request to GET Http://xxx.xxx.xx.xxx:port/status.php.

So Unraid must have some remaining config or setting for Nextcloud to bark up this tree. I have deleted everything again

What do I need to do to resolve this issue with the certificate?
