"Invalid state" trying to login

I signed up for a new user account and verified the email. I then tried to log in using my email and new password. The system gives me the following message, "invalid state". No matter what I do or browser I use, it gives the same error message. Today is the first day using this software for my NAS. Any ideas?

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
