July 15, 2025Jul 15 Hello, friend! I’m using an HP Z230 and I’ve noticed that Unraid is unable to detect my fan sensor. As a result, the fan operates at a constant speed. While I can set the speed in the BIOS, it doesn’t adjust according to the actual load, leading to either excessive noise or high temperatures. I tried using lm-sensors for detection, but it only recognizes the CPU sensor and fails to identify the relevant chip for the fan. Do you have any solutions for this issue, or do you know what chip is used in this model? Thank you!
