Cannot bind devices with tick the box

Hi all

I have unsuccessfully tried to pass my Samsung to vfio using the "tick the box" method. Every time I tick the checkbox and reboot, the binding does not work. (This issue also affected a network switch which currently is not installed.)

Manually editing the config/vfio-pci.cfg didnt work for me.

I now got it to work by editing the syslinux. The VM worked, but this method now throws a fix common problems warning (legacy stubbing). I tried the suggested solution from the thread, delete from the syslinux file, put the checkmark, reboot. Still didnt work for me.

Is there something i am doing wrong? Is this a non-issue?

    3. Adjust your preference.
