July 17, 2025Jul 17 I no longer get a DHCP IP from our Xfinity router. Today I could not connect to Unraid's web interface via local IP. I have tried both ethernet ports, different ethernet cables, restarting the Xfinity router, rebooting Unraid. Nothing seems to work. We did not lose power so I am at a loss for words. I have attached the diagnostics from running the command and then powerdown. Hopefully someone can help shed some light onto the issue.tower-diagnostics-20250716-2140.zipUnraid Server OS version: 7.0.0 IPv4 address: 169.254.95.180 IPv6 address: not set
July 17, 2025Jul 17 Community Expert That's typically a router or connection issue, e.g., the link is up but it's not actually connected to the router DHCP/server, but it could also be a bad NIC.
July 17, 2025Jul 17 Author I have tried both ports on and they give the same result. Could both be bad?

You don't need to connect it to the internet; just enable the DHCP server and see if Unraid gets an IP. That will confirm if the current router is the problem.
