July 22, 2025Jul 22 So i upgraded to the latest unraid, 7.1.4, upgraded the two drives i was replacing that were 6TB and getting 14Tb drives, resilvering completed, everything is good.However the usable free space is still showing the same before the upgrade. After following the zpool upgrade instructions from one of the other forum questions related to mine, and then confirming that i have autoexpand on for that particular pool, I'm still not seeing the extra 10T that i just added overall. ZFS master shows60TB - USED 15.7TB -FREEPool shows22.2TB - USED5.60TB - FREEWhy are they not lining up? i tried everything, manually expanding, confirming, restarting. nothing seems to get me my extra 10TB to show up under POOL to match ZFS Master numbers. can someone please help me out?
July 23, 2025Jul 23 How many disks and what type of ZFS pool?You cant use the extra space in a ZFS pool until every disk has the same capacity, you cant freely mix and match drive sizes like you can in the main array.
