Trying to use hardware acceleration for transcoding in Jellyfin

Featured Replies

I am trying to get set up to use the igpu on my ryzen 5600GT or my gtx 970 to do hardware acceleration for transcoding on my jellyfin server.

I have attached some of the things I have passed into the docker contianer. I have also downloaded the drivers for both AMD and Nvidia.

I have tried selecting both vapii and nvenc for my hardware acceleration and both have been giving playback errors.

How can I get this to work for my igpu, and since my gtx can't do HVEC transcoding, is there any way to get it to do everything else and just have my igpu do this? Thanks for any help and let me know if there is any more information I can provide
