Need to hard reboot / Unraid disconnects from network after a certain number of hours

Featured Replies

Recently set up unraid have a couple of dockers, user scripts no VMs. Mostly followed the Alientech youtube videos. Have 2x 12TB hard drives (one as parity) and a 1TB NVME as cache. Have finished an initial parity sync.

Ever since I've gotten it setup, I've noticed that the network connection to my server suddenly disconnects and I have no network connectivity. It seems to be intermittent so sometimes it'll be within an hour or two or others it might be available for the entire day and goes down some time overnight. I don't have an external monitor hooked up to see what's going on at the time so the only way I can get reconnected is hard rebooting the device. The connection will be fine for a couple hours and then drops out again. I'm using a Unifi gateway and have the hardware set to a fixed IP within the Unifi portal.

Attaching diagnostics and server logs for reference but would love any help if possible!

Unfortunately, there's nothing relevant logged, this can also be a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one, including the individual docker containers.

Additionally, look in the BIOS for a "Global C-States" or similar setting and disable that to retest, it's been known to be a problem with some boards, with both Intel and AMD CPUs.
