July 28, 2025Jul 28 I recently setup my Lincstation N2 (UnmRaid 7.1.4) and am doing a copy of data from an old system onto the LincStaion.I'm using Chronosync (I don't think that's material, I've seen failures with simple large file copies) on a Mac Studio running MacOS 15.5). Data is going from a QNap Nas to Linc using SMB protocols.Unraid *** Error: Destination Target encountered error: "Socket is not connected" Occurred while copying fileAny thoughts or guidance appreciated!

October 24, 2025Oct 24 There's nothing relevant logged on the Unraid side, suggesting to me that it's an external issue.
October 31, 2025Oct 31 Author Which is odd, as it ONLY happens with this NAS, not with any of the others I have. They work as expected with large file copies or with long backups.I appreciate you taking a look.
