Same issue.

Hey,

I have the same issue, I have tried manually installing but does not work i guess the only feasible thing is to zip the plugin from a working UNRAID machine and install it.

Can you do me a huge favor and upload your diagnostics and either DM them to me or just put them in this thread. That will help us figure out what is happening here!

Can you please install the plugin, and then enter this command:

unraid-api plugins install -b unraid-api-plugin-connect

Then please let me know if that works or errors out and I can help out from there.

It's January 2026, and I just had to find this thread and use this information as this bug does not appear to have been fixed yet? In other words, I had to use:

+1, just had to use the unraid-api command in this post, the Unraid menu and button weren't present. Version is 7.2.3.

Same for me, no Unraid (Connect) button in 7.2.3 available. When you go to apps -> Unraid Connect -> settings it redirects to the API config.

Open a terminal window and type

unraid-api plugins install unraid-api-plugin-connect

Then refresh the GUI, this usually resolves that issue.

Same problem for me on 7.27.
