Unraid 6.12.13 - Docker container disappearing

Featured Replies

Hi all. First post here because, really, Unraid has been working like a champ for me for over 2 years.

I recently installed the n8n docker pp from the Apps store. I configured it, tested it, even made a Cloudflare tunnel to it. That was yesterday.

Today, I go to log in and I get a 502 Bad Gateway from Cloudflare. Then I opened up my Unraid console to check out the situation. My n8n app was gone. Not just stopped, gone. As though I had never installed it. I looked at the Docker logs and couldn't find anything useful there. Before I try the same thing again expecting a different outcome (I'm already insane enough, thank you) I'd like to throw this issue at you guys to see if anyone else has encountered this.

I searched this forum for "docket container" and "docker container disappear", but didn't see any similar threads to this one.

Is your docker image full?

The logs look like that might be the case.

My docker image was at 93%. Not totally full, but close enough. I doubled the size and reinstalled n8n. It ran (again) for 1 day and then disappeared again. I also took the time to upgrade to version 7. That didn't appear to affect anything.

Do you have other containers installed? No ill effects on them?

Basically zero reason why a container would ever "disappear" without somebody removing it (or a script or something like backup/restore plugin) is killing it, but I doubt that.

If it happens again, reinstall from Apps - Previous Apps and don't change anything on the template. Does that come with an error?

Yes, I have about a dozen containers running. They have been running solid ever since I installed them, from 1-3 years ago.

Thanks, Squid. I'll try reinstalling from Apps - Previous Apps. I'll let you know in a day or two whether it's still there.

So it's been a couple of days, and my n8n container is still running, so I guess I'm out of the woods. Maybe increasing the size of the docker image file solved it? I still don't know why it disappeared the second time, but I'll chalk that up to some for of hallucination.

Thanks all!
