MCE Machine Check Events error

Featured Replies

Hi, My unraid box has been happily running for a few months with zero issues, and noticed last night that all my containers & vms were unresponsive, and couldn't SSH in. The box is headless (no GPU) so I powered down from the front panel.

On looking at the logs, the only thing I could see was a "Machine Check Events Detected" line.

MCE Log is below - looks like something RAM related to me, but I don't have much expertise. TIA.

It does look like a bad DIMM. The system event log or IPMI log may have more info on the affected one.

Great, thank you!

I just checked and the system info is now reporting 56gb rather than 64gb of total RAM, so I assume that it has ignored that DIMM now.
