August 13, 2025Aug 13 Community Expert Aug 13 15:57:24 HOCNAS kernel: r8169 0000:06:00.0: error -ENODEV: unknown chip XID 688, contact r8169 maintainers (see MAINTAINERS file)Stock driver doesn't support that NIC, so you really need the 8125 Realtek driver, but if no link is detected it won't work. I recommend posting in the plugin support thread.
August 13, 2025Aug 13 Author Thanks I try to install the 8125 driver via the plugin page hopefully that fixes it. Would it also be better if I just get a network card?hocnas-diagnostics-20250813-2343.zip Edited August 13, 2025Aug 13 by houseofcards
