Hey there im having issue with getting an ip for the built in network port on a Gigabyte X870I AORUS PRO ICE Motherboard for a home made nas

This is connected to netgear GS724TPv3 switch then connected to my main router GT-AX6000 for internet

the switch is out of the box with no changes to it

Any advice?

No link on the NIC, did you try without the Realtek driver, using the default one instead?

Also check the Ethernet cable and connections.

Thanks for the information and so i remove the realtek driver and have install the correct ones from the addin page i try to do that

Here is the new diag hocnas-diagnostics-20250813-2301.zip ive also confirmed that the ethernet cable and connections are working I was able to see the nas via the switch

So the nic is RTL8922AE

Stock driver doesn't support that NIC, so you really need the 8125 Realtek driver, but if no link is detected it won't work. I recommend posting in the plugin support thread.

Thanks I try to install the 8125 driver via the plugin page hopefully that fixes it. Would it also be better if I just get a network card?hocnas-diagnostics-20250813-2343.zip
