August 22, 2025Aug 22 I have unraid setup and configured to the best of my knowledged, I am exoperiencing issues with network configuration for my server. The issue that I am running into is by default bondng is enabled and all the nics appear to be working as intended. However when disabling bonding and trying to enable each adapter I loose complete network connectvity. The lights on the nics light up however there are no IP address assigned to them. My network is mostly DHCP with some static IPS assigned to other devices. Do I actually need to keep bonding enabled by default to get the networking functionality working? or can I leave it disabled. My hardware consist of of the followingMB - AMD Ryzen X570 with Ryzen 5900xRAM - 32GB DDRHDs/SSDs - 2x 256gb Nvme SSDS and 3x 8tb hdsNics - 1 intel GB and 1 realtek 2.5 (built in)PCIE Nic - 10Gtek 10Gb Dual RJ45 Port Network Card with X540is there a way to reset networking settings back to default settings? Also for some reason its not picking up dns even though its set to dhcp, Any ideas or suggestions?

August 22, 2025Aug 22 Author Not sure which one you would need and hopefully it is what you needed thank you syslog tower-diagnostics-20250822-0019.zip
August 22, 2025Aug 22 Community Expert A link is only being detected on a 10GbE NIC, which is currently eth2, is that the one you want to use as the main NIC? If yes, you need to make it eth0. Settings - Network Settings - Interface Rules, then reboot. You can do the changes booting into GUI mode.
August 22, 2025Aug 22 Author Does it show all four network adapters? Yea i while prefer to enable the 10g card as default and the other two are available and working in the background.

August 22, 2025Aug 22 Author Is bonding linking all four devices and combing into one connection? Will that cause all four nics to share 1 ip ?
