August 25, 2025Aug 25 Hello! Unable to passthrough Samsung 990 Evo plus NVME to a VM. Attempted all troubleshooting steps found in this forum, with no success. Can still use the VFIO method if needed, trying for best performance via passthrough.Suggestions? Thanks.Pancho VM.XML VM Log.txt
October 28, 2025Oct 28 @pancho - did you ever figure this out? I also have a 990 and I am in a similar situation as you, I can only get it to work via manual vdisk and not VFIO passthrough. I assume there is some performance loss here, but it's not totally clear to me.
