May 22, 201214 yr I’ve been running 4.7 for about a year now and I definitely set something up wrong with the shares. i have a few shares (movies, music, pics, misc,) and at first I specified the disk using include and exclude, but later abandoned that method. The problem is that everything in the ‘movies’ share is still being written to ‘disk1’ and it’s full. It reached zero bytes available and I started getting ‘No Space Left On Device’ errors. i deleted some files to make room. I have since re-read the wiki and I have min space set to ‘40000000’ and I’ve even tried excluding ‘disk1’ from all shares. and anything copied to ‘movies’ still goes to ‘disk1’. I’ve stopped and rebooted the array since making the exclude disks and min space changes. Syslog and some screen shorts attached I don’t get it. What am I doing wrong? syslog_2012_05_22.txt
May 22, 201214 yr The split level may need to be higher. What is the full path of the destination file.
May 22, 201214 yr Author i use sabnzb and the completed folder path is "V:\Queue\Staging" 'V:/' is my movies share
May 22, 201214 yr Staging will only appear on a single disk. Split level 3 will allow staging to split.
May 23, 201214 yr Author ok, so could i also just move 'staging' to the root of V:\? that way my other individual movie folders will stay on one disk. i added the 'staging' dir to 'Queue' recently and that is where i guess i went wrong. now i better understand how the split level works
