I'm on 6.12.15 looking to upgrade to 7.x. Are there any tips or things to make sure that are done before the upgrade?

Before upgrade:
Backup of flash drive
Screenshot or list of current drives and serial numbers
Backup of appdata

Verify Flash drive is sufficient size


My flash drive is 16G so it should be sufficient. Any other steps or tips before I do the upgrade using the GUI?

    All those steps you listed are good. Be sure to make sure all plugins and dockers are upto date before updating. Also be sure to read the release notes to see if anything else is recommended.

    3. Adjust your preference.
