Hi All,

I have recently upgraded the motherboard, CPU and ram to a 6700k with 16gb of ddr4 3200 using a Gigabyte Z270X Gaming 9 motherboard.

These were old parts that weren't being used but offered a bit of a step up from my old X58 components.

I wanted to start using VM's more from the server and I am hoping that this upgrade will allow me to run one or two.

I am however having an issue with the system in that it won't stay asleep, it will sleep for maybe 30 seconds then boot straight back up again without any wake commands being sent to it.

I have also noticed that it will boot up when shut down on its own.

I have been back and too through the UEFI settings and I cant seem to find anything that is related to this behaviour.

Does anyone have any ideas of settings that can cause this?

Thanks

Matt
