Cache Pool faulty after power off

Featured Replies

Hello,

after moving to my new place and powering on the Unraid server, I’m experiencing issues with the cache pool.

The cache consists of a pool of two 256 GB NVMe drives. Both are properly detected by the OS. However, when I start the array, only one of them is shown in the cache pool, and it displays the following message:

Cache: SAMSUNG_MZVLW256HEHP-000L7_S35ENX1K656232 – 256 GB (nvme1n1) – 27 °C – 0.0 B/s – 0.0 B/s – 0 – btrfs – Unmountable: wrong or no file system

The cache appears green in the UI, but shows 0 bytes. The second drive is listed under Unassigned Devices.

Please find the log attached.

Pool cannot import with a misplaced device:

stop the array, then on main click on cache and then "remove pool"

back on main, create a new pool with the same name and 2 slots

assign both pool devices, leave the filesystem set to auto

start the array to import the pool and post new diags.
