Just wanted to know if its a good idea to have drives in an unraid array that are connected to the Unriad server via external sas to a jbod chassis?

Is this something that anyone has tried?

    SAS is one of the best options to connect devices, be it internal or external, I have multiple SAS external enclosures working for many years.
