Ich habe Mich gefragt ob es Möglich ist Recordbox als Docker laufen zu lassen damit Recordbox auf die Musik die auf dem Unraid NAS gespeichert ist draufzugreifen kann und Recordbox für das Netzwerk offen wäre damit meine CDJ 3000 er über Netzwerk auf Recordbox zugreifen kann und die Player quasi autark von jeglichen Speichermedien oder Computer nutzen kann, das geht ja einfach im Netzwerk einen PC mit Recordbox laufen lassen und die Player greifen live auf Recordbox zu.

Das so als Idee, wäre das Umsetzbar?

Ich fände das cool wenn man mal eben Spontan die Player und den Mixer einschaltet und direkt loslegen kann ohne auf Den PC und Serato zu warten , Serato Braucht immer ewig bis er die 4tb Festplatte scannt.

From what I can find, its is possible but complicated and not a simple run and done. as that project is not docker nor Linux based.

Rekordbox is not officially supported to run directly within a Docker container. Pioneer DJ, the developer of Rekordbox, designs the software to be installed and run directly on a host operating system like Windows or macOS.

*Your better off using a windows VM and a network share on unraid.

While it is not officially supported, some users explore workarounds and indirect methods involving Docker for specific aspects related to Rekordbox:

however, other music dockers exist. whats your end goal? what are you trying to do and how do you want to interact with it?

Vielen Dank für die ausführliche und schnelle Antwort, es ist doch komplexer als ich gedacht habe, ich werde es dann eher mit einer VM versuchen, Ne wie gesagt das Ziel ist es halt das die Musikdateien in Recordbox sind da auch die ganzen Cue punkte gespeichert sind und die Player dienen quasi einfach als Controller nur nicht über usb sondern über Netzwerk. eine Musik Netzwerk Schnittstelle wo der Player auf ein Netzwerkspeicher zugreifen kann wäre auch cool aber das gibt die Software meines Wissens auf den Playern nicht her. bevor ich mir den aufwand mache versuche ich auf dem i5-6500T eine kleine VM zu installieren wo Recordbox drauf läuft mal schauen wie ich das möglichst sparsam hinbekomme. da es ja nur eine idee war die eigentlich cool wäre mir das aber zu aufwendig ist teste ich das mit der VM aber ich denke mir das es wohl darauf hinauslaufen wird das ich auf meinem Hauptrechner einfach Recordbox starte da ich ja eh in dem momment nicht am Rechner bin.
