Connecting a Macbook to my Windows as a Mass Storage

Featured Replies

Whats up!

I use a Macbook Pro M1 for 99% of all my photo & video editing work.
I have a Windows PC just gathering dust and it has about 14TB of disk space (NVME and HDD)
I'd like to convert it into a mass storage device and if possible connect my mac to it to use as a big Hard drive while on the same network or if im travelling.

Please let me know if this would be possible and if so what are all the requirements especially network speed.

Regards

Sean

It's possible, access speed will be limited by the network link and the storage hardware used/config.

Mass storage no, NAS yes, just share one or more folders.
