Restarting my Unraid Server Will Always Make Me Copy New BZRoot files to my Main Flash Drive

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

I've attempted to search for a solution to this problem but can't seem to find anything other than the quick fix for this. Anytime I restart my server (maybe after two weeks or longer after doing the fix) it will fail to load my Unraid server in either safe mode, GUI mode, etc. The fix for this has always been to download a new installer file for Unraid OS version I'm on and copy and replace all BZ files on the main directory. Once I do that, it boots normally. I've already replaced my flash drive 3 different times with different name brand USB sticks and still get the same error as well as trying different USB ports.

I'm someone who likes to routinely clean out my server and restart it monthly but haven't been able to do this like I'd want to because of this small inconvenience. I'm afraid that my whole Unraid OS and config is broken or corrupt (if it can be) because I feel like after an extended amount of time being on and not restarted, my dockers stop working properly (Sonarr, Radarr, Deluge) minus Plex. After going through all my photos, I don't seem to have the error documented nor do I think it shows in any sort of log. Would anyone have some insight on this and what I can do to stop this from happening?

Thanks in advance.

You can try with a new flash drive using a stock install, and if it still happens, it's likely some issue with the server.
