[SOLVED] Moved drive from one UNRAID server to another

Featured Replies

Old server running v4.7pro

New test server running v5.0basic RC3

I did not delete all data on the drive.

Hooked it up to the new server with one other drive - picked the other drive to be parity.

When I look at disk1 - it now shows the top level share but I can not access it from windows.

I can create new shares. I can access these fine.

I can access it from the console - I can even play the files via the console.

Any ideas? I just want to delete the data.

Use the fix permissions function. Unraid 5+ uses root as it was intended, as a limited use account. Previous versions used root for all functions, so files created in previous versions are locked until you reset permissions.
