I've just rebuilt my server and it is running both hotter than I would like and louder...

I've installed the Dynamix Auto Fan Control, Dynamix System Temperature, and FanCtrl Plus Plugins got the controls working, but I'm curious if there is a specific way the BIOS fan control system needs to be set up in order for the software to have control?
