Ugreen NAS DXP6800 UGOS to Unraid

Featured Replies

Hi, i am thinking of migrating to Unraid OS from UGreen OS mainly due to i can not add pcie intel arc a310 gpu for fast transcoding as UGOS is locked onto kernal 6.1.12 and gpu needs 6.2 kernal.

Before i take the leap and go for free trial & start backing up 3tb data to my old synology is anyone out there with dxp6800 and intel arc gpu and if theres any issues with it, i also havent figure out what raid configuration i need i keep hearing zfs on youtube as currently i have 2x 500gb red nvme as cache and 4x red ironwolf 4tb 1x 2.5 ssd for docker files & containers, also main feature that a must is auto power and shut down, id like mobile apps to deal with server from outside and able to power on & off via wol which make my life easier than chugging a laptop aroubd for minor fixes, but not that big of issue im not sure if unraid has those features.

And i forgot to ask can i use nvme for unraid OS rather than usb stick as internal ssd on dxp6800 is reconised as usb external when i cloned it and adding 3x nvme red mixing up internal OS slot for cache nvme one with unraid software writer
