unRAID on Proxmox

Featured Replies

I'm trying out unRAID on Proxmox and want to know if there are specific settings I need to follow when creating the VM for it? Or is there any guide somewhere that shows the steps for the VM creation?

Going to move this to the virtualizing Unraid subforum, more likely to get a response there.

This guide should help you get up and running

I just started running unRAID on a proxmox VM. Now how do you install the qemu guest agent in the VM? Do I just do "apt install -y qemu-guest-agent" in the shell or something?

Unraid already has guest agent installed, you just need to start it

Ok, that worked! Thanks. I hope that is in a guide somewhere. Though I understand that virtualization isn't officially supported.

Another question about remote access provisioning.

https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-connect/remote-access/

I'm following this to enable remote access. I click the Provision button to generate a CA-signed cert file, it loads for a few seconds, and nothing happens. It is still at a Not present state. Why is this?
