Unraid crashes nearly every day

Featured Replies

Hello dear Unraid community,

I have been using Unraid for 8 months and since then I have had the problem that the server crashes almost daily 10 minutes after booting. For a long time, I thought it was a motherboard problem. Now I have found a way to save the syslog file on the boot USB stick and would like to upload it for you to analyze. To me, it now looks as if the server is deliberately shutting down. What could be the reason for this?

Some additional information: after the second boot process, the server usually runs stably.

ChatGPT thinks it could be a license problem. I should rename the license file to pro.key (or plus.key) and save it in the root folder. Does this make sense?

As a precaution, I also renamed the Trial.key file to Trial.key_old.

Thanks for any advice!

Kind regards,

Torsten

Looks like the S3 sleep plugin is actively shutting down the server. I suggest either disabling it or removing it. Not even sure that plugin is compatible with recent Unraid releases.

Thanks for that! I'll try removing the S3 plugin to see what happens.

I've been trying it for several days now without S3, and it's worked really well. Thanks again for the helpful tip!
