October 10, 2025Oct 10 Hi, I had Unraid running stable, besides some hiccups here and there. But since a few weeks my server is crashing every few days, so I enabled syslogs (attached below). It says very frequent and one of the last messages before crashing was a rcu_preempt self-detected stall on CPU part. Does maybe someone know a way to fix it ? Or is it maybe a sign of a dying CPU/Hardware? syslog-192.168.12.172 (1).log
October 10, 2025Oct 10 Community Expert They are most often hardware related, post the complete diags mostly to see the hardware used, you can boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one, including the docker containers.
