Terramaster F4-424 PRO - Auto power-on?

Featured Replies

I am trying to get my Terramaster F4-424 PRO NAS that runs Unraid to auto power on when power is restored after an outage (I do have UPS linked to it). To my understanding, there is not really BIOS on this machine where this option could be enabled (not sure about this). But I found that in the original TOS there is: https://help.terra-master.com/TOS/view/?lang/en-us/flag/hardset

Do you know if it is possible to turn this feature on through Unraid?

You should be able to. You'll need to hook up a keyboard and a monitor (via HDMI) and during the posting of the machine, hit Delete or F2 to get into the BIOS.

Typically there is a Power section somewhere and in there there may be an option that has, as values, "Power On", "Last State", etc.

"Power On" would be to always power on after a power loss, "Last State" would be to keep the last state after a power loss (off if off, on if on, etc).
