October 24, 2025Oct 24 Hi,I've been searching forums, Reddit, and Google and haven't found any solid clues as to whether there's any option or community-based plugin to get UnRaid to stop displaying the disk size in decimal and instead display it in binary. I primarily use my server with a torrent client, which displays the size in binary. I'd like to know if my cache drive has enough space without having to use a converter. The last forum thread I found proved useless; a couple of people, and even moderators, led me to believe we should just forget about it.I understand that the average user might find it very confusing and annoying that their 2TB drive appears much smaller in Windows (I've spent many hours explaining this in a simple way for clients), and UnRaid wanted to display the "advertised size" of the drives you're using. But honestly, the average user doesn't use UnRaid, so the option to do what Windows does and display the disk size in binary should be an option. Previous thread I mentionSorry if I seem abrupt/rude, but English is not my first language and I have autism.
