October 29, 2025Oct 29 I'm replacing my cache drives and just wanted to be certain on the sequence of events. My current share settings involving cache is pictured below. October 29, 2025Oct 29 Community Expert When you say drives, do you mean it's a pool, and if yes, is it mirrored? If yes, you can replace/upgrade the devices one at a time with the pool and data online, assuming they are not smaller.
October 29, 2025Oct 29 Author It's a pool of 2 drives, not mirrored 2x1TB. I am replacing both. Plan is to mirror them this time. Both 1TB again (yes I'm halving my cache size but adding mirroring)
