cache drive MVME won't format

I am trying to to format my MVME drive as a cache drive and when I try to format it, it will just sit in the "formatting" state forever.

I have tried rebooting, reformatting using blkdiscard -f /dev/nvme0n1 & I have tried remounting using fdisk -l /dev/nvme0n1 but it is still not working for me.

I have attached my diagnostics because I have no idea what to do from here.

Any help would be appreciated.

    I ended up figuring out the issue. I had my cache drive assigned to slot 2 when it should have been assigned to slot 1. I updated this and now it formats fine.

    Do you mean you had a pool with two slots and only a single device assigned to slot 2?
