Disks no longer detected after upgrading from 7.1.4 to 7.2.0

Featured Replies

Hi,

Hope someone can help me figure this out. After upgrading to 7.2.0, the system rebooted but afterward the disks are no longer detected. I went ahead and downgraded the OS back to 7.1.4 but still it shows "no device / missing" for my array and cache disks. The only thing detected is the USB drive.

Can you see the disks in BIOS?

  • Author

Hi,

They are not showing up in BIOS... started looking at that more closely and I believe the sata power backplane on my jonsbo N3 case has gone bad.. coincendently with the upgrade reboot which is odd.

I'll reach out to jonsbo for a replacement, the disk is detected if I bypass the sata backplane.
