I added a new HDD. Can someone check the syslog for me?

Featured Replies

In the syslog is says wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/md14. I dont know what this means. I did preclear the hdd well over a year ago.

New_Text_Document.txt

Run reiserfsck and smartctl on the affected drive and let us know.

These messages are perfectly normal until you format the drive.  Until then, there is no superblock on the file-system on the drive, since you've not yet created a file system by formatting the drive.

All you need to do now is format the drive.
