November 8, 2025Nov 8 Community Expert I am able to access my server with FTP using FileZilla and the root user. However, I would like to setup an FTP user that has read-only access, is that possible?
November 8, 2025Nov 8 Community Expert If you use SFTPGo it's possible. You can create as many users as you want and add permissions on a directory basis if you wish. You really shouldn't be using the root user, so take a look at SFTPGo instead.
